The mission of the Dyslexia Tutoring Program is to teach low-income children and adults with dyslexia or a language-based learning disability to read. This is accomplished through
a professional screening
assessment and
tutoring by volunteers
whom we have
trained in The
Orton-Gillingham
method of reading,
writing, and spelling.

Monthly Student Reports

Tutors are required to file Monthly Student Reports with the DTP office on a monthly basis. Monthly Student Reports are vital to a student’s progress because all students are re-screened after they’ve reached 30 hours of tutoring, and the reports allow staff to monitor and confirm tutoring is taking place. Please fill out one report per student for each month of tutoring. When you click submit, the form will be sent to DTP.
